Here are some budget saving wedding invitation tips.

I just got an email from a bride who was shocked by the cost of printing out 20 wedding invitations.  Yes, it can be a lot to print invites. It is also a lot to send them and not to mention postage on the RSVP cards back. Guess what? Stamps are increasing again so buy forever stamps!

Here are a few tips to save on invitations:

  • Choose an invitation that can be customized and easily printed. Etsy.com has a lot of invites where the seller will add your name to the invitation and they send you the digital download.
  • For printing of invitations, use places like Kinkos, Office Depot, or  Costco.
  • At Costco  you can have cards printed in 25 increments for $17.25!
  • For the RSVP card, you can do a postcard size so the postage is less. Remember that you have to pay for the postage on an RSVP card and postcard postage is less money.
  • Instead of the RSVP card, have an info card and ask guests to email you their RSVP
  • If you don’t have a lot to say on your details of the wedding card, make it a business size card. You can find DIY business cards at office supply stores and print the details on your home printer. These cards can say things like the address of the reception venue, menu options, place you are registered at, and other important information.

Hope these budget saving wedding invitation tips will help you!
