Ocean View Elopement

The first days of autumn can be very warm on the central coast, and today was no exception.  Most couples thing that getting married in June is the best weather here – I think the warm Fall days are perfect!  This ocean view elopement took place in the shade of a giant cypress tree, on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  And, since the groom is a lover of nature, this was the perfect spot for this ocean view elopement.

The bride looked so pretty in her knee-length lace dress, accented with a sparkly sash.  She carried a bouquet of made by her Uncle who is a florist. It was such a sweet gift for her to have on her special day.  She even wore a sparkly hair adornment.  And her groom looked equally handsome, in his suit and matching boutonniere.

During the ceremony, the couple expressed their love for each other.  The groom said that he loves the fact that his bride is hardworking, understanding, and has a good sense of humor.  And, the bride loves her groom’s kindness, tenacity, and thoughtfulness.  They were reminded to never take each other for granted and to treat each other with tenderness, kindness, and respect in the days ahead.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom had photos taken under the cypress tree, with the ocean and Avila Beach in the distance.  They were traveling north to Cambria for their honeymoon, a favorite spot that they visit often.

May this just be the start of many happy days travel to favorite destinations as well as faraway places.  And, for future anniversaries, maybe they will return to the spot under the cypress tree to remember their ocean view elopement.  Our best wishes to the two of you!
