Dog-Friendly Shell Beach Elopements

This weekend was the perfect time for our small, dog-friendly Shell Beach elopements. Though it rained the night before, and even sprinkled the morning of these weddings, when the time came for the ceremony, the clouds had cleared and the sun even broke through to reflect on the water. Such a beautiful time on the central coast, with turquoise blue water and crispness in the temperature, and love in the air.

And, this was the weekend to involve the cutest dogs. For one of the weddings, the three dogs wore the cutest tuxedoes with deep pink bow ties. One even served as the ring bearer (or should I say, ring barker). He pranced down the aisle with a little pillow on his back which held the rings. The other two dogs were the attendants. During the ceremony, they were very well-behaved, and posed for some adorable pictures.

For the other wedding, the dog wore a white dahlia, as she walked down the aisle. She was even mentioned in the ceremony!

Both dogs were important members of the family and therefore were included in the wedding party. Not many churches allow you to bring your dogs to the ceremony, but we at Coastal California weddings realize that dogs are important to our brides and grooms. And, we love to include them in the wedding. Besides, they create great photo opportunities. Why shouldn’t they be involved in this important day?
