Lovely Ladies Beach Elopement

Originally, this elegant elopement was to take place in the sand, with the Pismo Beach cliffs in the background.  But, nature had a different plan.  As the guests arrived, the waves got closer and closer to the cliffs, until there was no sandy spot left for the guest and the couple to have their beach wedding.  So, we all gathered on a grassy area above the water.  As the waves crashed below, all were ready for the ceremony.

The couple had a friend playing the ukulele as one bride waited at the alter for the other bride to be escorted by her son and dad down the aisle.

For this elopement, the couple not only wrote their own vows, they wrote their own ceremony.  It was very important to them to let their guests know how important they are to the couple.  Today was not only the joining of two hearts, but the joining of two families, as well.  They told the guests that family mean everything to them.  As they said so well, “You have been chosen to be here, and although others are missed, those standing here in this circle where there is no beginning or end and which is symbol of everlasting love, are truly loved, respected and appreciated by the two that stand before you.”

After they read their vows to each other and pledged their love and loyalty, the couple asked the guests to also take vows to help the couple, from this day forward.  The guests were asked to promise to encourage the couple, love them, and give them guidance and support in keeping the promises the couple made this day.  The guests then voiced a resounding “I do”. What a special way to have the guests affirm and support this union.  As family and friends who were had gathered for this joyous occasion, they were asked to help the couple keep the commitment for these lovely ladies beach elopement to each other from this day forward.

May the couple be blessed by the love and support of those guests gathered together to witness this elegant elopement and may they live in harmony, unity, love and happiness forever.  May they remember every moment of this day, as a good life is a collect of happy moments.  And their collection of memories begins with this joyous gathering.
