Margo Dodd Gazebo Small Wedding Pismo Beach –

For this beach wedding at the gazebo, the bride selected peach and mint green as her color scheme.   So, the chairs were tied with peach sashes and the entire gazebo was draped in white tulle, while the posts were tied with mint sashes.   The tulle softened the structure of the gazebo and added a special touch.   The colors were delicate and pretty, with the blue waters of the Pacific as the backdrop.   Likewise, the bride carried a bouquet with peach roses as the dominant color, sprinkled with white dahlias, small bush roses, and baby’s breath as filler.   Mint green satin ribbon accented the bouquet and carried out the color scheme.

As the bride made her entrance, she was accompanied by her three children.   What a special way for them to feel part of their mom’s special day.   Later in the ceremony, the bride’s children and the groom’s children joined the happy couple under the gazebo to take part in the shell ceremony.   The children, as well as the bride and groom, were given a shell to hold for a moment while each made a wish for their future happiness as a family.   Unfortunately, the groom’s daughter was delayed because of an accident on the highway, but her brother held her shell along with his own and made a wish for her.   The shells were then placed in a container on a bed of sand, as a keepsake for the bride and groom.   At the close of the ceremony, the children were also included in a family blessing.

While soft music played in the background, the couple had photos taken with family and friends.   (And, yes, the groom’s daughter did arrive in time for the photos.)   After the group photo of all of the guests, the bride and groom headed down the stairs to the beach for some private photos.   Certainly, the photographer got some good shots, for this groom was even beaming before the wedding started.   His smile was so warm and sincere.   Many of the guests lingered at the wedding site and took advantage of the cool breezes and the spectacular view of the blue ocean below, before heading to the reception in Pismo Beach.

All of the guests at this wedding seemed so happy for the bride and groom.   It is very touching when special friends and family can enjoy the excitement and joy of the moment.   Certainly, these friends and family will continue to be a part of this family and offer love and support to this couple in the years ahead.

We, at Coastal California Weddings, want to wish this happy couple many beautiful memories, with their children and their dogs joining in the fun.   May they always respect each other’s differences and remember why they fell in love with each other.   And, thank you for letting us share in your special day!
