The California Coast makes a beautiful backdrop for a wedding.  Whether you choose a historical mission, barefoot beach ceremony or winery location, California creates a memorable place for your special day.

Coastal California Weddings specializes in elopements and small weddings. My team and I take care of all the planning and coordinating of the event so all you need to do is show up and look pretty!  We create a relaxing and stress-free day for the two of you.  We take your vision and turn it into the wedding you dreamed about.  You can choose our simple elopement package, small wedding packages, or a customized ceremony for your wedding.

Why small weddings and elopements?  I feel that small weddings are more intimate for the couple and for their guests. It allows the couple to also sit back and relax a little during their special day, while sharing lasting memories with family and friends. Finally, a small wedding provides the couple with the opportunity to save a little money to use for their future. I believe a wedding doesn’t have to cost as much as a new car!

Our packages are available in San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County.  Cities include: San Luis Obispo, Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, Arroyo Grande, Santa Maria, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Santa Barbara. Check out our locations page to choose your wedding ceremony location.

I handle all the day to day functions of the business and have my hands full with the planning and coordinating. I like to stay busy and am always looking for new wedding trends and ideas.

I started in the wedding planning business many years ago when I was asked to help my friend plan her wedding in 3 months. Friends and family thought she was crazy, but I knew we could do it!  I made a lot of the decorations, put together centerpieces, and even baked a few cakes. When it came time to plan my wedding I felt like there weren’t a lot of options for small weddings. While planning my own wedding, I searched high and low to find my wedding venue and add the perfect touches for the special day. I understand the importance of a budget and like to plan smaller weddings since my wedding had only 45 guests.  I am also an ordained minister and wedding photographer. Many times you will see me behind the camera during the wedding ceremony taking extra pictures or candid moments. My favorite part of the wedding ceremony is being part of the couple’s special day.  Through months or weeks of working together, it is an exciting day to see the couple say I do and make it official.

On the weekends, I spend my time with my husband, little toddler and dog Skip.  We enjoy life on the Central Coast and take advantage of the amazing weather like to be outdoors walking at the beach or wine tasting.

Since I am a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo alumni, I have spent a long time exploring the Central Coast. This area also has a special place in my heart since I was married in a historic old presidio in Santa Barbara.

And if you can’t tell…I love to laugh!!

Lynda is our ordained minister. She believes that marriage is a sacred bond to be respected and cherished by each couple. Revered Lynda is also great with her words! She can create a special ceremony that includes your own story of love, while adding in some poems or verses that have meaning to the couple.

Her favorite quotes of love are:

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” Maya Angelou

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one and other in love.” Ephesians 4:2-3

Julie is one of our wedding photographers. She likes wedding photography because she can make romantic pictures come alive and make wonderful memories for couples. Plus, she enjoys seeing the beauty and storytelling through wedding pictures. Wedding pictures make you feel like you were there with them at the wedding. Julie’s favorite part of a wedding is hearing the couple’s love story and capturing the candid moments of the couples and their family. She also studied photography at Azusa Pacific University.

In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her kids, taking pictures anytime she can, and reading romantic books. “What can I say; I enjoy the corny romantic stories.” A perfect day would be being able to spend the whole day at the beach with my husband and kids. Julie incorporates her passion for photography and it shows!

Adrianne helps out with the day of wedding coordination and is in charge of decorations.  She has a great eye for the extra detail and enjoys finding unique pieces to add to our decoration closet.   She is a great team player and is always willing to help lend a hand.

If you need help with travel plans, she is also the unofficial travel agent. If Adrianne could, she’d be relaxing in the sun of Hawaii right now with a Lava Flow in one hand, and a fashion magazine in the other.
