For this Pismo Beach Elopement the couple met near the wedding ceremony location for a first look.  They weren't going to be arriving together to the wedding, but wanted a special moment before the ceremony. They met under the big trees and we captured those moments for the two of them.

They walked hand in hand to the wedding ceremony. When the both arrived, their children greeted them and were so happy to be part of their special day. The couple wanted to involve their children in the wedding ceremony. The bride wanted her children to walk her down the aisle.  Then groom's daughter was the flower girl and was supposed to walk down the aisle and sprinkle shells down the aisle before the bride.  But, when the daughter saw her dad, she asked if she could walk him down the aisle and sprinkle the shells.  It was so sweet to see this!

Some couple write their own vows, but for this elopement, the groom surprised his bride and wrote and sang a song for her. It was so touching to have him preform this song and for him to include such a romantic surprise for her!

The couple also wanted to include their guests in their Pismo Beach elopement. They wanted to have a sand ceremony where they included the guests. The couple had a keepsake container and the guests had small containers of sand.  The guests added their sand to the container.

This Pismo Beach elopement was at our Tree Grove location. At this location, the trees make a natural arch. The couple wanted us to add a drape and flowers to the tree arch.  I really like how the extra decorations added to the location. The location is a short walk to the beach so the couple was able to walk there for photos on the beach during sunset.

I always love when couples add their special touch to the wedding ceremony.
