Cypress Lookout Wedding

Some times our couples will plan their weddings a year in advance. They know they are ready to get married, but they need a little more time to plan for their wedding day, or maybe their special wedding day has already passed and their date has special meaning for them.  I remember the day I met this couple. I actually met another couple the same day who recently got married. It was a great day for brides because both were so sweet and I was excited to be part of their wedding day!  They brought some of their children over to the beach location to check things out. It was so cute that they wanted their children to be part of their special day and the planning.

Now, fast forward to the wedding day. This wedding took place on a grassy area, at the cypress lookout wedding location. There were  yellow wildflowers on the lawn, cypress trees and the guest had a view overlooking the ocean.  It was a clear day, with bright sunlight making the water sparkle – such a beautiful accent to this special day.The bride decided to have her colors be maroon,  blush pink, and grey. It actually was such a nice color choice for the wedding day and style of the wedding. The couple wanted to involve their children in the ceremony so we added a shell ceremony to the wedding.

I love it when the guests treat a wedding as the special occasion it is.  And these guests sure did!  The bride’s colors were grey and maroon, with the best man and groom wearing grey suits and maroon vests and ties.  The bridesmaids wore long maroon dresses, as well.  Not to mention, all the bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters and her brother walked her down the aisle. To match the color theme,  all of the guests wore either grey or maroon attire. I love when the guests take the time to dress up and look pretty for a wedding – it is a special occasion !  The chairs were tied with maroon sashes.  And, of course, the bride carried a bouquet accented with maroon flowers, blush pink, and ivory.
