I always tell couples that there are no rules to wedding these days.  I believe in having a unique, personal experience with the wedding day and love when then couple is able to customize their wedding to be their own.  When I first talked to the bride, there were a few things on her must have list.  I’m always a little hesitant to hear what those are, but so happy to hear this bride had simple requests. Her main request was to have her 2 fur babies at the ceremony and the second was that she wanted to have pies and pizza at her reception.

The wedding date was the day before Earth Day so the outdoors Los Olivos winery wedding had the perfect backdrop with the large oak tree, green grass, and vineyards beginning to bloom.

Not all weddings involve flowers.  In fact, for this wedding, the bride selected a bouquet of greenery, highlighted with seeded eucalyptus.  Similar arrangements accented the aisle, tied with sage green ribbon.  The bride wore a garland of greenery, and her two dogs also wore matching garlands to celebrate the occasion.

After the ceremony, the guests were able to enjoy the grounds as they mingled and enjoyed a selection of white and red wine.  While the guests celebrated, the couple were able to sneak out into the vineyards for some photos, after enjoying some family shots.  For the Los Olivos winery wedding package, the couple had extra time for photos. I thought this was perfect since the guests could enjoy wine and the couple could go around the property for photos.  The winery and vineyards had so many places to take photos at. It is really a photographer’s dream to have a ton of options for beautiful winery wedding photos.

Since the only people who were locals were the bride and groom, the guests enjoyed the weather and views of the vineyard.  Guests traveled as far as the East Coast and as close as Washington state.
