I always encourage couples to take a little time to see the sights, have a little vacation, relax, and then plan for their wedding day.

This couple spent most of their time at the beach for their trip to Pismo. They rented an AirBnB and stayed a few blocks away from the ceremony location.  After explaining a little about the tide, they decided to get married at the gazebo location and then go down to the beach for pictures after the ceremony. The tide was washing up during our photo session, but I just loved how the bride put on her Nikes, waded through the waves, and got on the rocks for some amazing photos!  I think it’s great when couples let me take them on an adventure to get photos.  I know the beach area and getting pictures was important to this couple – they had never been to the beach so the beach was their special place.  The tide was coming up, but we were careful to cross the rocks and get up to higher ground when we needed to.

The bride made sure to tell me the location and photos were very important to her. Knowing a little more about what the couple wants helps out a lot when working with them.

Because of this couple, I started a guide of favorite things to do in Pismo Beach. So many couples come here and I want to share with them all the awesomeness of the Central Coast. The guide has my favorites, along with favorites from other couples.
