San Francisco Elopement

Natalia and Oliver traveled all the way from the UK to celebrate their special day!  That morning I had thought they may have brought the rain with them to the city as the dark clouds started to roll in.  But, by the time their ceremony started the clouds parted and the sun was shinning.

When we arrived at the beach for their wedding ceremony, the groom had set up a Go Pro to document their elopement.  Being the techy guy that he is, the camera was rolling just as the bride made her way to surprise him.  The minister recited a verse from the famous Jack Johnson song that had meaning for the two of them.  They sealed their love with a kiss with the Golden Gate in the background.

Later, during pictures Natalia was very brave and jumped right into the water of the cold Pacific Ocean.  While Oliver slowly put a toe in and then decided he was ok with the cold water so the couple could grab an amazing photo on top of rock with the tide rushing in.

San Francisco is such a romantic city for elopements.  There were so many great photo opportunities with this couple.  We were also lucky enough to be the only people on the beach that day.  Natalia and Oliver will have such great memories of San Francisco and every time they see photos of the Golden Gate bridge they will think back on the day they celebrated their love and said I do!

As  a side note…I have to say that the groom’s outfit is my favorite outfit of all the grooms that I’ve worked with!!  His suit had a hint of blue pinstripe down it and the light blue printed shirt went so well with his boutonniere.  Way to go Oliver!!
