Sometimes it is nice to step out of the coordinator role, relax a little and focus on wedding photography.  I really like the challenge of photographing weddings in a setting I haven’t been to before.  I like the opportunity to look for backdrops and different ways to pose the couple.

I ended 2016 with this wedding at a private house in Cayucos. We sometimes venture outside of Pismo Beach to do weddings – South to Santa Barbara or North to Cambria.

I was able to take some photos of the bride as her excitement for her special day started.  She gave her groom a special gift and he opened on the ocean view patio.  Next, she spent a few special moments with her son and then she wrapped her arm around her Dad and tears of joy came down her cheek.

For the wedding in November, the sun was warm and sunny and the day was filled with love.
