Spring Wedding Flowers

With the arrival of spring comes a wide selection of seasonal flowers for spring

weddings. Brides can select from pale pinks of roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, tulips,

and peonies, to the blues of delphinium, Dutch iris, hydrangeas, and lisianthus, to

purple hues of anemones, hyacinth, and lilacs. Or, they can choose flowers in shades

of ivory and white, selecting from a wide array of blooms. Or brides can select spring

flowers based on their sweet, pleasant fragrance. Freesias, roses, stephanotis, stock,

sweet peas, and hyacinths emit a delicate fragrance perfect for a wedding.

With the abundance of spring flowers, especially bulbs, prices of spring blooms can

be very reasonable. With the variety of flowers, from modern tulips and calla lilies to

Victorian flowers like hydrangeas and lilies of the valley, brides can create that perfect

bouquet. Another nice touch is to add spring branches, like cherry, forsythia, and

dogwood to table and altar bouquets.

Spring is the time for fresh, new beginnings, so it is only fitting that brides select spring

for their big day. Whether they want soft, muted, romantic bouquets or more vibrant,

color-filled bouquets, spring is a perfect time to get that special look.
