June weddings on the central coast many times mean fog and mist.   This summer beach wedding was no exception.   As the fog drifted in and then floated away for patches of sunlight, this couple expressed their love for one another.   The groom and his groomsmen wore grey tuxedos while the bride wore a beautiful white wedding gown and her bridesmaids wore a sandy beige – very appropriate for the beach location of this wedding.   Before the father of the bride walked her down the aisle, her bridesmaids and little flower girl walked down the path, followed by her ring bearer.   The couple recited their vows to each other as many family members and guests looked on.

The setting was perfect for this wedding – the gazebo in Shell Beach, overlooking the ocean.   Each chair was decorated in white lace, and the aisle chairs had bows of burlap and lace.   The gazebo entrance was also decorated with burlap and lace.   The bride also carried a bouquet tied in burlap and made of delicate garden roses.

During the ceremony for this summer beach wedding, the couple expressed their love for each other.   In his vows, he said that he felt fortunate to have found her and pledged his loyalty to her.   He also said that she is the sweetest, most caring and down to earth person anyone could meet.   And, she loves the way he becomes so playful and childlike when he’s around children, making her realize that someday he will make an amazing dad. They also mentioned that they both understand one another without judgment and that they are able to express anything to each other.   And, even more importantly, they are best friends.   How important that is, since true friendship is the cornerstone of any lasting relationship!

A shell ceremony was included in this wedding after the rings were exchanged.   The couple each briefly held a shell in their hands and made a wish for their future.   Then, the shells were placed in a container in a bed of sand, as a memento of this day.

May this couple have many happy times together as they begin their new life as a married couple.
